Some rules of city gardens.



A common misconception when people begin their gardening endevours are to be as creative as possible and do whatever they want. The problem with this is that the gardener doesn't live in the country and has neighbors, neighbors that you must be thoughtful of. Some common things to keep in mind when creating your city oasis would include: Don't kill the animals! Although some critters may be a nuesence and keep eating your veggies, most cities look very bad on killing these criiters. Compost piles are a good idea, but may not be allowed. Keep it under control, you may want that wild Africa look, but does your neighbor or the city? These are just some basic things to keep in mind while constructing your garden and every city has different rules so be sure to look them up for your city.
